The online course titled Virtual Academy is a pre-professional educational tool that prepares high school, vocational, and college students with the essential skills needed to become successful in their future profession. As students communicate with their mentors, they will complete student development planning goals, create program expectations, and the protege will complete curriculum modules based on a needs assessment. The protege will have the option of completing 6 of the 12 curriculum modules. Once the student has completed Virtual Academy, he/she is then eligible to enter the pre-screening pool for internships. Based on the student's application, the protege will be notified for interview options and will meet with a recruiter with that particular company.

The students are given a series of 4 tests (Needs Assessments) by the learning contract to review their progress as the end of each integral section of the training.
- The first of these evaluations are administered prior to beginning the program, to connect the students to the mentor.
- Two additional evaluations are administered during the course of the program.
- The last evaluation is administered upon completion of the program.
